Ok, so why write a blog about a tug boat kit? Well I thought that this would be a good idea for the following reasons;

1) To share my experiences with other potential modelers of this kit .

2) Hopefully to receive advice and feedback.

3) Give me something to do while waiting for glue/paint to dry

My name is Martin, a forty five year old computer geek and I.T. professional (stop sniggering at the back!). I began building RC models as a child, and although it has been many years since my last attempt (Caldercraft Ryhope), recent events have re-kindled my interest.

I should point out that I am not an employee of Jakata, Caldercraft or any related company, and have no hidden agenda or axe to grind. I just wish to share my experiences of building this lovely vessel so that others may benefit from my achievements, and hopefully avoid my mistakes.
